Neighbors: Ive recruited for clients in many locations and it is far and away much easier to convince someone to make a move when there is a critical mass of other similar companies nearby. Take a look at Silicon Valley, NYC, Boston, etc. we see that startups gravitate to areas where other startups are located. Startups often gravitate to epicenters of innovation because services they home page need venture capitalists, lawyers, bankers reside there.
